GES to announce shortcode for CSSPS schools confirmation

A shortcode at the appropriate time will be released by the Ghana Education Service for students who participated in the 2022 BECE to verify and confirm their selected schools for placement, a staff of the Ministry of Education has said.
In a discussion with AcademicWeek’s Editorial Staff, the Education Ministry (MoE) official said the shortcode will help address the majority of computer placement challenges that usually confront the school placement system process.
“This academic year, a shortcode will be announced for the 2022 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for School students to verify and confirm their selected second cycle schools,” the MoE staff told AcademicWeek.com.

For students who will detect an error or mistake in their school choices, he said they are to report the issue or mistake immediately to their Head of school or teacher for necessary corrections to be made by the Ghana Education Service.
Candidates should note that this is not a new process of school selection and therefore schools cannot be changed except if there is an error that needs to be rectified,” the Ministry of Education (MoE) staff stated.
