GES to develop basic prospectus for first-year SHS students

Public Relations Officer for the Ministry of Education, Kwasi Kwarteng says his outfit has tasked the Ghana Education Service to develop a basic prospectus for first-year students to be enrolled in Senior High/Technical Schools.
Speaking in an interview monitored by AcademicWeek, he said the move forms part of the Education Ministry’s effort to lessen the burden on parents to achieve the ultimate goal of the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy.
“The Minister for Education, Dr Adutwum has tasked the Ghana Education Service to develop a comprehensive or basic prospectus for first-year Senior High/Technical School students to go to school this February,” Kwarteng said.
