PRINCOF releases 2023 Colleges of Education academic calendar
The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has released the 46 public Colleges of Education academic calendar to determine weeks of academic activities in the 2023 academic year for students.
The 2023 calendar includes reopening, inter-semester break and vacation dates for level 100, 200 and 300 Colleges of Education students. PRINCOF has urged the various Colleges to take note of the calendar and act accordingly.
Inter-Semester Break (5 Weeks)
Level 100 and 200 students to report for the second phase of the first semester (4 and 8 weeks respectively) – May 7, 2023
End of first-semester examination for level 100 students – May 22 to June 2023
Level 100 students vacate – June 3, 2023.
Level 400 students to report for the second phase of the first semester (5 weeks respectively) – June 3, 2023.
End of first-semester examination for level 200 students – June 19-30, 2023
Level 200 students vacate – July 1, 2023
Level 300 students to report for the second phase of the first semester (8 weeks respectively) – July 2 2023.
Level 400 students break for the first phase of the second semester – July 8, 2023
Level 100 students report for the second semester (12 weeks) – July 16, 2023
End of first semester examinations for level 300 students – August 14-25, 2023
Level 300 students vacate – August 26, 2023
Level 300 students report to schools of attachment for Micro-Teaching (6 weeks) – August 28, 2023
Level 200 students report for the first phase of the second semester (6 weeks) – August 27, 2023, to August 28, 2023
End of second-semester examination for level 100 students – October 2-6, 2023
Level 100 students vacate – October 3, 2023
Level 200 students break for the first phase of the second semester – October 7, 2023
Levels 300 and 400 report for the second phase of the second semester (7 and 5 weeks respectively) – October 8, 2023
End of second-semester examination for level 400 students – November 6-10, 2023
Level 400 students vacate – November 11, 2023
Level 200 students report for the second phase of the second semester (6 weeks) – November 12, 2023
End of second-semester examination for level 300 students – November 20-24, 2023
Level 300 students vacate – November 25, 2023
End of second-semester examination for level 200 students – December 18-22, 2023
Level 200 students vacate – December 23, 2023
