Steps to take after checking the 2023 school placement
Here are the steps you need to take after checking your 2023 school placement:
- Print your 2023 BECE results slip. If you have not already printed your results slip, you can do so by logging into the WAEC website like you did earlier when you were checking your BECE results.
- Print your 2023 school Placement and Enrolment forms (Two Forms). These forms are also available online when you check your placement. One form contains your raw scores, and the other is the form you will fill out for enrolment in your school. You will need to make two copies of each form.
- Put the three documents you have printed in a brown envelope or file folder. This will help you keep track of all of your important documents.
- Get a maximum of 4 passport-size photographs. You will need these photographs for your school enrolment.
- Go to your JHS head teacher in your school and help complete the enrolment form. Parents and other adult members of the family are advised to lead this process. Do not leave it in the hands of the students.
- Take the completed enrolment form to the Senior High School you have been placed in. When you arrive at the school, you may look out for the school notice board and check if your name is on the school’s notice board.
- Join the queue of those in the school to see the head of the school for their enrolment. Meet the head when it is your turn to start the process.
Additional tips:
- Start the process of enrolling in your school as soon as possible. The earlier you start, the less likely you are to have any problems.
- Make sure that you have all of the required documents with you when you go to enrol in your school.
- Be prepared to wait in line when you go to enrol in your school.
- If you have any questions, please ask the school staff.
