MoE spokesman announces 2022 BECE results release date

The Public Relations Officer for the Ministry of Education (MoE), Kwasi Kwarteng has announced January 19, 2023, as the 2022 BECE results release date. He said the 2022 computer school placement release will follow thereafter.
In an interview with the Daily Graphic, the spokesman said the West African Examinations Council will communicate further details to students after completion of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results processes.
“Once the 2022 academic year Basic Education Certificate Examination for School results are out, the process for the placement of candidates into SHSs and technical institutions will begin,” the MoE spokesperson told the newspaper.
In a related development, the non-profit-making organization (WAEC) has said candidates who sat for the 32nd edition of the national examination (BECE) will check their results at its official BECE result portal https://eresults.waecgh.org.
In a discussion with AcademicWeek.com, an official of the West African Examinations Council said the new BECE for School results-checking portal forms part of his outfit’s effort to make the exams result checking easy and simple.
“Earlier, we only used one portal for candidates to access their results but now things have improved and so has WAEC. Just like last year, this year’s candidates will only check their BECE results at https://eresults.waecgh.org,” he said.
How to check your 2022 BECE School result
1. Visit the BECE result-checking portal
2. Enter your Index number
3. Re-enter your Index number to confirm its correct
4. Select the Exam type
5. Select the Exam year
6. Enter your serial number found on the scratch card and
7. Enter the PIN found on the scratch card
8. Check the captcha box and click on submit button
Administered for both Private and School candidates, the 32nd Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) examination began with Social Studies on Monday, October 17, 2022, and ended on October 21, 2022, with French.
