Colleges of Education admission portal reopen for late entry

The National Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has reopened this academic year’s Colleges of Education admission portal for a short period to enable students who couldn’t submit applications for admission to do so.
In a communique sighted by AcademicWeek.com, the Principals said Free Senior High School (Free SHS) leavers and students who sat for the just-ended WASSCE for School can also apply as they wait for their examination results.
Colleges of Education’s admission portal has been open again for a short period. Those who couldn’t apply initially can apply. Free SHS leavers can also apply even if the results are not released,” PRINCOF stated in the communique.
The reopening of the Teacher Training admission portal comes shortly after the National Conference of Principals ended the sale of the 2022/2023 Colleges of Education admission forms on Monday, October 31, 2022.
The public Colleges of Education (CoE) 2023 admission forms vouchers are currently available for sale at various branches of the Ghana Commercial Bank. The admission form can be accessed by dialling the shortcode *924*8#.
To qualify for teacher training admission, the National Conference say applicants must have A1-C6 in three core subjects thus; English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science and three credit passes in elective subjects.
According to the National Conference of Principals of the Colleges, interested applicants with SSCE certificates who had obtained A-D in three core subjects can also apply to be considered for the 2022/2023 teacher training admission.
