Has the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) withheld your WASSCE result? If that is the case then be assured that the results would be released after a thorough investigation not longer than about 31 days into the matter.
It is rather unfortunate you may not gain admission or entry to any tertiary institution in the country this year as the result is currently blocked until the conclusion of the one-month investigation by the non-profit-making organization.
The Council in a blog post sighted by AcademicWeek.com has assured it will release the withheld result once a final decision has been taken by the management and stakeholders of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
Considering the assurance, what you should do at this point is to be patient and trust that the non-profit-making organization after their investigation will release your WASSCE result for access at https://eresults.waecgh.org.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has indicated however that prospective students who will be found guilty of examination malpractice and misconduct will have their entire WASSCE for School result cancelled.
If in case you are planning to opt for result upgrading, please stop as management of the Examinations Council has described that process as fake. WAEC on several occasions has cautioned candidates to desist from such illegal activity.
“The West African Examinations Council is cautioning all stakeholders, especially prospective candidates who sat for WASSCE to be on the alert and not fall prey to the activities of scammers who promise to upgrade results for a fee
Candidates are to note that all WAEC results are secured and can be authenticated. Institutions are therefore urged to always verify results presented to them to expose incidents of forgery,” the organization stated in a blog post.
