NSS releases trained teachers postings for 2023 service year

The National Service Scheme (NSS) has released fifteen thousand, five hundred and seventeen (15,517) trained teachers postings to enable them to undertake their mandatory one-year national service for the 2023/2024 service year.

In a statement shared with AcademicWeek, the NSS said all eligible trained teachers are to visit https://nss.gov.gh to check their placement and proceed to print their appointment letters for endorsement by respective user agencies.

“Regional validation and registration for prospective service personnel will begin January 20, 2023, and end on February 28, 2023, at all NSS regional centres across the country,” the National Service Scheme said in the statement.

The Ghana National Service Scheme (NSS) added that “management further directs all prospective national service personnel to begin their national service on February 6, 2023, after completing the posting registration process.”

As part of service to the nation, civic responsibilities and contribution towards national development, the management of the Service Scheme has entreated all posted trained teachers to accept their postings or places they were posted to.

“All service personnel deployed are hereby entreated to accept their postings as part of their civic responsibilities and contributions towards national development,” the NSS urged the 2023/2024 service year posted trained teachers.

How to check your 2023/2024 national service postings

1. Visit the NSS posting portal

2. Enter your email address and password used during the registration process and click on Login.

4. Click on print posting letter

5. Your place of posting will appear

6. Save the page as PDF and print it. (Postings registration should be completed by the deadline.)

Posted personnel have been urged by the management of the Ghana National Service Scheme (NSS) to visit their user agencies for endorsement before scheduling an appointment online for registration and subsequent validation.
