7 private Senior High Schools to participate in NSMQ – Primetime

More than five private Senior High Schools in the country have been selected by Primetime, the producer of the National Science and Mathematics Quiz (NSMQ) to compete in this academic year’s edition of the science and maths competition.
In a social media post sighted by AcademicWeek, Primetime Limited said the seven private Senior High Schools will officially compete from the preliminary stage of the upcoming 2023 National Science and Maths competition.
2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) will have seven private schools officially compete from the preliminary stage of the competition,” the organizer of the national competition for Senior High Schools said in the social media post.
The schools are; Hope College, Louis Rutten Senior High School, Otoo Memorial Senior High School, Regentropfen Senior High School, Sonrise Christian High School, S.t Andrews Senior High School and Wallahs Academy.
Slated to be launched on September 26, 2023, Primetime, the organizer of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) says preliminary stage balloting for this year’s edition of the competition will take place on the launch date.
In a post sighted by AcademicWeek, the prime sponsor of the 30-year-old NSMQ said the preliminary stage of the national contest will commence from October 6 to 10, 2023 and October 11 to 13, 2023 for the One-eight stage.
Quarterfinals Primetime stated will begin from October 15 to 17, 2023 with semifinals on October 19, 2023. The grand finale of the National Science and Mathematics competition Primetime indicated will be held on October 24, 2023.
Started in 1993 and produced by Primetime Limited, the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) is an annual science and mathematics content-based national-level quiz competition for Senior High Schools across the country.
The quiz is to promote the study of science and mathematics and help students develop quick thinking and a probing and scientific mind about the everyday world around them while fostering healthy academic rivalry among SHSs.
