PRINCOF releases 2023 public Colleges of Education calendar
The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) as the 2023 academic year commences has released the 2023 public Colleges of Education calendar for all 46 Teacher Training Institutions in the country.
The 2023 academic calendar comes after PRINCOF said level 100 students would pay GH¢2,991.50, GH¢1,645.91 for level 200, GH¢1,407.31 for level 300 and GH¢1,148.68 for level 400’s as the approved College of Education fees for this year.
“Fees to be paid as the academic year fees should be in conformity with the 15% threshold increment approved by Parliamentary Select Committee on Education together with the other stakeholders,” TTAG said in a release.
The Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana also cautioned the Students Representative Councils in the 46 Colleges of Education to desist from negotiating unapproved fees with College management and surcharging students.

June 19, 2023 – End of first-semester examination for level 200 students
July 1, 2023 – Level 200 students go down
July 2, 2023 – Level 300 students report to College for the second phase of the first semester (8 weeks)
July 8, 2023 – Level 400 students break for the first phase of the second semester
July 16, 2023 – Level 100 students report to College for the second semester (12 weeks)
August 14 -25, 2023 – End of first-semester examination for level 300 students
August 26, 2023 – Level 300 students go down
August 28, 2023 – Level 300 students report to their schools of attachment for Micro-Teaching (6 weeks)
August 27, 2023 – Level 200 students report to College for the first phase of the second semester (6 weeks)
October 2 – 6, 2023 – End of second-semester examination for level 100 students
October 3, 2023 – Level 100 students go down
October 7, 2023 – Level 200 students break for the first phase of the second semester
October 8, 2023 – Level 300 and 400 students report to College for the second phase of the second semester (7 and 5 weeks respectively)
November 6, 2023 – End of the second-semester examination for level 400 students
November 11, 2023 – Level 400 students go down
November 12, 2023 – Level 200 students report for the second phase of the second semester (6 weeks)
November 20-24, 2023 – End of semester examination for level 300 students
November 25, 2023 – Level 300 students go down
December – 18 -22, 2023 – End of second-semester examination for level 200 students goes down
December 23, 2023 – Vacation
