WAEC updates 2022/23 WASSCE result portal to release results
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has updated the 2022 WASSCE result portal as part of a move to enable students who sat for the examination to check their results from December 1, 2022, at https://ghana.waecdirect.org/
An official of the non-profit-making organization who spoke to AcademicWeek.com on condition of anonymity said the management of his outfit has updated the WASSCE for School examination year from 2021 to 2022.
Checks by AcademicWeek’s Editorial Staff indicate the 2022 WASSCE result portal was updated to the current year at exactly 9:02 pm, a progress which suggests the management of WAEC shortly will release the WASSCE School results.
“Prospective students who sat for the 2022 edition of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will check their result at only https://ghana.waecdirect.org and not https://eresults.waecgh.org,” the WAEC staff said.
Asked what time the provisional results of the Ghana version of the international examination (WASSCE) will be released online at https://ghana.waecdirect.org, the Council official said from December 1, 2022.
How to check your 2022 WASSCE School results
1. Visit the WASSCE result portal
2. Select the Type of Examination (WASSCE).
3. Select your Examination Year (2022).
4. Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
5. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher eg. 012345678912.
6. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. (This is to ensure that your examination information is correct)
7. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes.
A total of 422,883 prospective candidates made up of 203,753 males and 219,130 females from 673 public and 304 private Senior High Schools (SHSs) across the country participated in the just-ended 2022 WASSCE for School.
