GSTS Alumnus gets President Biden Lifetime Achievement Award
Known by many Western Regional inhabitants, and outsiders as one of the best Senior High school in the Ghana. Ghana’s third oldest School, which was established in 1909, is well-recognized for consistently producing outstanding graduates who go on to become influential leaders and key industry players and high-profile political figures in the Ghanaian, African, and global economies (e.g Ashitey Trebi-Ollennu, Professor Agyeman Badu Akosa, Late Professor Kwesi Akwansah Andam, and Sonnie Badu etc)
Following the success journey, one of its instrumental old Student (Giant), Dr. Alexander Anim-Mensah,who graduated in 1989 has been honored with a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award by U.S. president, Joe Biden.

In a statement sighted on theafricandream.net, the PhD Chemical Engineer with over 20 Industrial experience whose patents which has been witnessed in the U.S., and key parts of the world including the European Union, Canada, China, and Mexico said “It is both humbling and inspiring for me to receive a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for my contributions so far. This award is for all those who have contributed and still contributing to my success, as well as those aspiring to do greater things for humanity. I believe this honour will motivate more people to bring on constructive changes,”

Profile of Dr. Alexander Anim-Mensah
Alexander Anim-Mensah is a Ghanaian-American chemical engineer, inventor, and author. Dr. Anim-Mensah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati-Ohio. He had both his O and A level at the Takoradi-based Ghana Senior High Technical School.
The President of i2iMegaHub is the Recipient of 2019 Distinguished Patent & Innovator Award and 2019 Nominee for National Academy of Inventors Fellow (NAIF). Additionally, He has Co-authored 2 books, 2 books chapters and several technical papers in the area of membrane science & technology, and biomedical applications.
