GES appoints Emmanuel Essuman as new C/R Education Director
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has appointed Mr Emmanuel Essuman as the new Central Regional Director of Education, the management of the Agency under the auspices of the Ministry of Education (MoE) has said.
Prior to his appointment, the newly appointed Regional Education Director was the District Director of Education, Juaboso, in the Western North Region. He has twenty-two (22) years of experience in the field of education.
Profile
He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration – Finance, from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a BED Population and Family Life from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds an executive certificate in Counseling
He has risen through the ranks of the service due to his determination to make a continuous positive impact in education.
He is well-versed in data collection, analysis, and finance. He was an EMIS Officer at Asante Mampong Municipal Education Office and Kumasi Metro Education Office.
He has held many positions; including Financial Secretary – National CODE. Financial Secretary – Western North CODE, Chairman – Western North Basic Schools Sports Federation.
He stands for accountability, transparency and hard work. Mr Emmanuel Essuman is a staunch Christian. He is married and has five children.
