GES gives contact to report school selection verification error

The Ghana Education Service (GES) after opening https://csspsverify.com for students who sat for 2022 BECE to verify and confirm their selected second-cycle schools has said they can report school selection verification errors for corrections.
In a statement shared with AcademicWeek, the management of the Ghana Education Service said prospective 2022 BECE graduates or students who may have errors in their initial school selection are to call 0556541525.
“Students who may have errors in their initial selection should call 0556541525 or click on the edit button available in the https://csspsverify.com after their selection details are displayed with a copy of the original selection form,” it said.
Alternatively, the Ghana Education Service (GES) said students who may have errors in their initial selection can send an email with a copy of the original school placement selection form to cssps2021@gmail.com for necessary correction.
How to verify 2022 school selection choices via shortcode
1. Dial the USSD shortcode *899*88# on your mobile phone
2. Select option 1 to view choice file
3. Enter your index number (BECE)
4. Enter the 4-digit token number and send
After successfully completing the process, an SMS will be sent to the mobile phone to confirm your selected second-cycle schools. Please kindly go through the listed schools thoroughly to ensure the information are accurate.
How to verify 2022 BECE school selection choices online
Assuming you have received an SMS message containing the web portal https://csspsverify.com and USSD short code number with the 4-digit token number from the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS)
1. Visit the school verification portal
2. Enter your index number and token
3. Click on the Fetch candidate selection button and wait for your selected school choices to display.
Note: please be informed that after you have entered your index number and SMS token to see your second-cycle school selections, changes can only be made by your school administrator or Headmaster/Headmistress.
