GES updates cssps.gov.gh ahead of school placement release
After the computer school placement portal went offline after the 2021 school placement release in the 2022 academic year, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has restored https://cssps.gov.gh online to release the 2022 school placement.
Speaking to AcademicWeek on the development, an official of the Ghana Education Service said the management of his outfit has upgraded the computer school placement portal to avoid any downtime amid a spike in traffic.
Asked when the much-awaited computer school placement of students who sat for the 32nd edition of the Basic Education Certificate will be released, the GES official said the school postings are expected to be out any time now.
How to do 2023 school self-placement at CSSPS
1. Visit the computer school placement portal
2. Then select the check placement module on the left-hand side
3. Enter your BECE Index Number (eg. 100000000019) and
4. Enter your E-Voucher Code (12-digits)
5. Click on Proceed to be redirected to the self-placement module
When redirected successfully to the Self-placement module, you will be provided with a selection of schools to pick from based on the aggregate or grade you had in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
6. Choose carefully your desired second cycle school
7. Choose your residential preference (Day/Boarding).
8. Select your programme of choice
9. After doing all the necessary checks, confirm and print. Remember that once you have completed the selection process it can not be undone or changed.
