KNUST Course registration Portal opens for 2023/2024 Academic Year
The management of the Kumasi-based Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is set to open the online course Registration Portal for the 2023/ 2024 Academic year today. The portal will be accessible for registration from Monday 18th December 2023 to 15th January 2024 for Continuing Student.
Earlier this week, Academic Week reported that the Kumasi-based university has published the provisional fees for the 2023/2024 Academic year online. The published academic fees covers student categories such as Ghanaian Undergraduate and postgraduate freshmen, undergraduate and postgraduate continuing students and freshmen and continuing international students.

According to official website of the University’s Information technology, Student who are eligible to register their semester courses include the following category
- Students who have fulfilled their financial obligation towards the study of their programme.
- Students who have been duly cleared by the finance officer because they have arrears to settle.
How to register KNUST Semester courses online
With your Student Credentials (Student ID, Email or password), Follow the steps below to register your semester courses.
- Go to student portal at apps.knust.edu.gh/students
- Logon with your student Credentials (Student ID, Reference and password)
- Click Course Registration when signed into the Dashboard of the student portal
- The system will automatically select the compulsory courses for the current semester.
- Select your department electives.
- Click on the “Register” link next to your elective courses to add them to your registration.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- Wait for the page to load and your results will be displayed.
- Print out your results or save them for future reference.
If you face any issue, kindly report to or contact your Department Examinations Officer or Programme Coordinator. Alternatively, you can try registering your KNUST Semester courses using the KNUST Academic Information Manager Application (AIM).
What is next after registering KNUST Courses?
After registering your semester courses, print out your course registration slip. Sign and return it to your department office for your Head of Department to sign.
