Primetime announces region to host 2023 Science and Maths quiz

This academic year’s National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) will be launched and hosted in Ashanti region – Kumasi, Primetime Limited, the organizer of the national competition for government Senior High Schools (SHSs) has said.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) campus will be the battleground for the Science and Mathematics contest which begins with the preliminary stage on October 6, 2023, until October 24, 2023.

Slated to be launched on September 26, 2023, the sponsor of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) says preliminary stage balloting for this year’s edition of the competition will take place on the launch date.

In a post sighted by AcademicWeek, the prime sponsor of the 30-year-old NSMQ said the preliminary stage of the national contest will commence from October 6 to 10, 2023 and October 11 to 13, 2023 for the One-eight stage.

Quarterfinals Primetime stated will begin from October 15 to 17, 2023 with semifinals on October 19, 2023. The grand finale of the National Science and Mathematics competition Primetime indicated will be held on October 24, 2023.
