WAEC announces help for WASSCE results checking issues
After releasing the 2022 WASSCE for School results at https://ghana.waecdirect.org, the non-profit-making organization (WAEC) says it will provide support to students facing difficulties in the WASSCE results checking process.
In a blog post sighted by AcademicWeek.com, WAEC said WASSCE students who may encounter problems in checking the 2022 WASSCE results should send an email to waecghanasupport@fleettechltd.com for immediate support.
The West African Examinations Council, however, indicated that prospective candidates whose 2022 WASSCE School results have been withheld or cancelled due to examination malpractice are excluded from the online support.
Prospective students who sat for the 2022 WASSCE School have been urged to check this year’s international examination results at https://ghana.waecdirect.org with a result checker card instead of https://eresults.waecgh.org.
How to check your 2022 WASSCE School results
1. Visit the WASSCE result portal
2. Select the Type of Examination (WASSCE).
3. Select your Examination Year (2022).
4. Enter the Serial Number found on the Voucher.
5. Enter the 12-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Voucher eg. 012345678912.
6. Confirm your Index Number and Examination Year. (This is to ensure that your examination information is correct)
7. Click on Submit and wait for the display in the popup window. This may take several minutes.
A total of 422,883 prospective candidates made up of 203,753 males and 219,130 females from 673 public and 304 private Senior High Schools (SHSs) across the country participated in the just-ended 2022 WASSCE for School.
A total of seven hundred and seventy-five (775) centres were used for the examination. Sixty (60) subjects, comprising four (4) core and fifty-six (56) electives were made available to prospective candidates to choose from.
The 2022 edition of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination which commenced on Monday, August 1, 2022, with the Visual Art Project Work options ended on September 27, 2022, with ICT Paper 3 Practical.
