The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) as part of measures to make the conduct of WASSCE and BECE for School and Private Candidates malpractice and leakage free has revised the rules and regulations for the examinations.

Available on its website, WAEC says the revision includes new rules on the destruction of exhibits, posting live questions on the internet, misconduct of exams officials and refusal to grant timely access to the school premises.
“The revised rules are available on the Council’s website and Heads of school are urged to sensitise their candidates on them. The Council will also be embarking on wide sensitisation on these rules to create the needed awareness,” it said.
